Sauder Schelkopf and Bochetto & Lentz are investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals who buried their loved ones at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Concerns have been reported relating to compliance and maintenance issues. Our firms are currently litigating cases against a cemetery in New Jersey and handled a case in Michigan. It has been reported by Vice that the cemetery has had “long-standing mismanagement and cost-cutting . . . . Beth Israel workers describe severe understaffing, unresponsive and antagonistic management, inadequate equipment. . . .” Others have publicly complained online of the condition of the cemetery.
Sauder Schelkopf and Bochetto & Lentz recently filed a class action lawsuit against Harvard Medical School following a June 14, 2023, indictment of several individuals alleging that a nationwide network of individuals bought and sold human remains stolen from Harvard Medical School.
