Victims of Larry Nassar Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

Sauder Schelkopf is investigating lawsuits on behalf of individuals who were victims of sexual abuse by Dr. Larry Nassar, a former doctor at both Michigan State University (MSU) and USA Gymnastics.  Over 300 victims have already shared their stories of abuse by Dr. Nassar either at Michigan State University or with USA Gymnastics; however, additional victims continue to come forward.  Nassar was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison for multiple sex crimes. MSU has already agreed to pay $425 million to the 332 victims who have come forward to date.

Experience Matters

Sauder Schelkopf has a nationally recognized sexual assault practice with significant experience fighting for sexual abuse victims.   Our former sexual assault prosecutors have extensive experience investigating and trying hundreds of sexual assault cases on behalf of victims of all ages.  Sauder Schelkopf, and co-counsel, recently reached a $215 million settlement on behalf of female patients of Dr. George Tyndall, a gynecologist at the University of Southern California accused of sexually assaulting students since the 1990s.  We currently represent survivors of clergy sexual abuse in dioceses throughout the country.  We have a class action lawsuit pending on behalf of males who were sexually abused by Dr. Richard Strauss, the Ohio State team doctor, while they were students and student-athletes at Ohio State University.  We represent female patients of gynecologist Dr. Patrick Sutton of Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California accused of inappropriate sexual conduct and comments during examinations and deliveries.
