Volkswagen Passat Remote Start Failure – Class Action Investigation

The law firm of Sauder Schelkopf LLC is investigating a class action lawsuit on behalf of owners of Volkswagen Passat vehicles (MY 2016-2020) that are prone to failure of the remote start feature. Specifically, it has been alleged that the remote start feature on these vehicles may initially work but then fail and become non-operational shortly after purchase. Some customers have reported that Volkswagen does not have a fix for the issue. Unfortunately, customers paid additional fees for the remote start function and it then became inoperable – and remains inoperable – despite the vehicle still being under the factory warranty.
